My step-dad is going to need surgery to remove fluid out of his lung and to remove a blood clot that is near his lung. Every time he goes into the hospital for a check-up from the fall five weeks ago he keeps getting worse and worse news. We are waiting on word of when the surgery is but any thoughts and prayers our way will be very helpful.

I am so thankful to be back on the East coast to be a support to my mom through all of this. I was suppose to start work this week, but that has been delayed a bit and so everything happens for a reason. I am able to spend time with the family and be there for my step-dad and my mom. Time for good news to come our way–we earned it!!
